Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a faith-based family and loving, dedicated parents. He was the oldest of four children born to the elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina the mother of the Oyakhilome family, who imprinted her faith in God's grace upon her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is a joint effort of the family. The Reverend brother of Ken (the revered pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is the home of several best-selling gospel artists.

Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters: Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon chose to follow in her father's footsteps of sharing the Word of God with all people. Also known as CSO (Community Service Organization) She is a talented gospel singer and is a part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his education at Edo College. After a scholarship was awarded to study the field of architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) He earned a BSc degree in Architecture, and an honorary Doctor of Science. Additionally, he holds an honorary doctorate in divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. While attending Ambrose Ali University, he received a call from God to enter into the ministry and become a servant to the Lord.
