The remnants of the Bastion, or "home sweet home" as the Piglins refer to them, are finally here! This image introduces the home of the Piglins. Welcome to my blog You might also find the ruin of the old portals if you search the world.





New Features in 20w16a

- Added bastion remains - Portals were destroyed - Added chain blocks. - A new music disc called "Pigstep" by Lena Raine, which can only be found at bastions





Bastion Remnants

What is made of blackstone It is full of Piglins or Hoglins Bastion remnants!



Four bastions were added as remnant types: bridge and Hoglin stables with housing units, as well as a treasure rooms. These structures can be found in all biomes of the Nether except for the dangerous ash towers of Basalt Deltas. Explore, loot and conquer an abandoned bastion fragment and call it your home... however, beware, Piglins won't tolerate the theft of their belongings by intruders.





Ruined Portals

The remnants of the ancient nether portals remain visible. They are mysterious.



They can be found in any overworld or nether biome - Some are hidden underground or under the sea, or buried in sand





Changes in 20w16a

- Increased the number of lava pools in order to make the deltas more "deltary" - The Piglin banner pattern is now found in bastions





Technical Changes in 20w16a

- Added a button to the GUI that will generate an jigsaw pattern starting from the jigsaw block with the given depth of generation. The maximum size for each axis for Structure Blocks from 32 to 48 - added JMX MBean to track dedicated servers tick times





JMX Monitoring

JMX now lets you monitor server tick times. The reason for this is that JMX is a well-known and supported monitoring technology that is compatible with the tools and integrations that are in place.



Administrators of servers can hook up graphing and alert tools to ordinary JMX clients or dashboards.





JMX Monitoring - Enable

- A new flag enable-jmx-monitoring has been added to the server.properties file which if set to true will expose an MBean with the Object name net.minecraft.server:type=Server and two attributes averageTickTime and tickTimes exposing the tick times in milliseconds. You will be required to add JVM flags to your startup to enable JMX on Java runtime.
