Pastor Chris: The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a religious family with loving, committed parents. He is the father of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the founders of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. God's grace was passed on to her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry includes all members of the family. Reverend Ken is Ken's brother , and a member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren (KattyWorghiren) is the director at the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry. This organization is home to many gospel artists who are top-selling globally.

Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon has decided to follow her father's example of sharing the Word of God with the world Also known as CSO, she is a talented gospel artist, award-winning and a part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was educated in Edo College. He then won an award to study architecture at Bendel State University. Additionally, he holds an honorary doctorate in divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He was called from God to be a minister and to serve the Lord.

The Man Of God was a student at University when He founded the church that would grow to be one of the largest in the world. His prayer group, called 'Youth for Christ,' would soon be one of the university's most popular groups. They would later go on to become LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.

Under Pastor Chris's leadership, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LoveWorldSAT became the first Christian television channel to broadcast 24 hours a day from Africa via free-to -air networks. There are LoveWorld television stations on cable and satellite networks around the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria in addition to South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. The ministry operates two Healing Schools that are located in South Africa. These schools are where Pastor Chris organizes sessions during the season that enable miracles to happen.

Music and Gospel Music play an integral part to worship. Pastor Chris invites Christ Embassy Churches have a choir that is supervised and trained by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. A lot of the singers are successful in their solo careers.

COFI's umbrella includes the InnerCity Mission ICM (ICM) as well as the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation /TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation and the Bible For All Mission. Each organization works to improve the health, lives and spirits for those most in dire need.
