Warcraft-Source Mod for EventScripts was developed in 2006 by a programmer named Kryptonite. It was based on WC3 by Pimpin Juice which was a warcraft mod for CS 1.6. It was subject to many stages of development, as it released public versions with Kryptonite at the helm of the coding team of WCS. Then it stopped official development at the end of the year at version .77. After it stopped development for official purposes at version.77, a few people gathered to create new versions of the wcsmod. This was the case with Warcraft:Source Python. was an entire rewrite of WCS into python for speed and stability. This project was lead by Jeff91 and Freddukes and the project stopped development a year later. With the introduction of the Orange Box update a lot of addons and functions stopped working which was a big smack in the face of us and forced us to create all sorts of updates. Hetal the current head of the official Warcraft-Source.com assigned La Muerte to be the manager of the layout of the site. Tha Pwned now rewrote Warcraft Source Shell in EventScripts Python however, it maintains its races coded in a manner similar to Warcraft Source Shell's races. This allowed the new recode to be extremely stable while preserving its flexibility.
