The Joker Seven is an imaginary character who uses fear, chaos and his theatrical outlandishness to his advantage. Although his true identity and causes of death remain a mystery, it was a clown-faced villain who was created. For years, he's been an inspirational and popular comic book villain that many readers continue to enjoy. But who was this infamous clown, and what happened in the dark days of his early career.
Detective Comics #8 was the first comic to feature this Joker Seven character. The Joker Seven was first featured in Detective Comics #8 as one of the most dangerous characters in the entire storyline. This mysterious criminal was always a threat to Batman's colourful Gotham City. His presence threatened to overwhelm Batman for decades, but Batman managed to stop him.
The early history of the Joker Seven dates back to 1940. This is where the Joker Seven made his comic-book debut. He is one of the most popular Batman villains. The Joker Seven was modeled after Batman's original "joker", and he exhibited the same characteristics as this crime-fighting superhero. The Joker Seven was not like Batman and he didn't wear masks. His face was always shown and he had no past or background.
The name of the Joker Seven was based off of two specific characters from the world of Batman: the dark knight (pseudonym for Batman) and the bat signal. The joker mask was designed to look like the bat signal, which was a red and black patch that was located on the upper half of the front windshield of Batman's vehicle. The red and black bat symbol was the symbol of the devil in the early days. This is why the Joker was named. In other versions of dark knight's history, however the red and bat symbol was changed to simply be a red-and-black light symbol. In any case, the joker idea was carried over to the Batman comics where it became the most popular villain for years.
As we have already stated, the origins for the joker stemmed from the fact that Batman's super villain identity was based on a fictional Joker. The story, when it was first told to the world, had the Joker committing some acts of grand theft in order to live an extravagant life, much to the dismay of the Wayne family. As a result, the family decided to try and eliminate the Joker by putting him in jail so he couldn't do anything wrong. While they planned this particular plan, Harvey dent was killed by the Joker Seven.
As the death of Harvey Dent drew the attention of the public, the attention of the entire country, and the world, Batman was inspired to create the superhero known as the white knight. Batman's personality changed from the dark, brooding villain that people hated to hate to become a warm, caring, heroic character that everyone could relate with. The Joker's popularity grew and he was given a part in comics that would forever change his identity. The Joker Seven created a comic that was essentially a sequel to the original origin story about the Joker. After the death of Batman the Joker fled Gotham City and started his own criminal circus known as the Joker Seven.
The new villains of the Joker Seven brought the dark knight into further conflict with Batman and the city of Gotham City. Batman's villains received more personality than any previous comic book. In his daily adventures, Batman encountered many new characters including the Riddler's Two Face, Catwoman and The Penguin. Throughout the years, the writing style of Batman has undergone several changes based upon the different writers that have written the comic book. Some writers created a more humorous, light hearted Batman, while others wrote stories that were more serious and realistic.
His villains weren't as interesting in the early years of Batman’s career. The popularity of Batman's character grew and so the Batman comics writers introduced more interesting villains like the Joker or the Riddler. The Joker Seven, who were the predecessors of the Joker and the Riddler, also received a great deal of attention from Batman readers. The early six issues of the Batman comics that explored the early beginnings of the character showed much more personality traits and characteristics than any prior origin story had provided. The popularity of both the Joker Seven and the early Batman comics has had an impact on the sound editing, sound mixing, and sound editing of the actual comic book. https://www.openlearning.com/u/wallaceramsey-r8gfls/blog/GamblingAndItsOrigins
