Name change and cracked launcher.

I'm interested in changing my name (because wss10 is a dumb name that I made when I was 12) and I understand that if I go to Mojang and change my name (fyi: I have a premium account) then I will lose my rank and stuff on GC. I was told by a staff member that I could change my name on Mojang and then log into GC with a cracked launcher and I will keep everything. First of all, I want to ask if this is actually true. <----

Also, if I do this, will my name on GC still be wss10 or change to my new name? I understand that it will change on premium servers but because GC is cracked, will it change?

Also could somebody provide specific instructions below how to do it? Like what cracked launcher to download and what order to change my name/sign in on cracked launcher in.

If you change your mojang name & login in GC you will have to make a new acc.
So you can still uwe your old acc by just downloading cracked launcher and entering wss10
Then connect to GC and just /login
I haven't used cracked in a very long time so don't really know good cracked launchers orso.

The way GC stores profiles is completely through the players username, unlike premium servers that store them through the players UUID. Basically titan launcher and minecraft server stuff can change your premium name to whatever you want but your stuff on GC will always be stored under the name wss10 so you can log in with that name using any cracked launcher.

I use the launcher from this website, http://www.skaia.website/ , but there's also other launchers you could use like the teamextreme launcher ect. they basically all do the same thing, just make sure it's one that's more known so you don't end up downloading one with files you don't.
