Ainars Slesers nominated for prime minister in Latvia
Ainars Selers is the candidate who has been officially selected for the post of prime minister in For A Good Latvia, said that he would uphold the national interest of Latvia in discussions with the International Monetary Fund as well international lenders. In addition, he would make sure that more Latvian products and/or services are exported to Germany (Sweden, Scandinavia and Ukraine), and to Lithuania (Litauen).

Slesers believes that For A Good Latvia will win the 10th Saeima election and that it will determine who will form the next government. He stated that only such people will be allowed to hold portfolios in the next government.

The new foreign minister and all ambassadors from Latvia abroad will have to commit the majority of their time to support Latvian businessmen's interests in foreign markets according to Slesers.

Andris Kele was nominated by For A Good Latvia to become the finance minister. This is due to the fact that Latvia is not able to rely on the debts it accrued over the years.

Skele and For A Good Latvia board Chairman Andrejs Ekis have offered praise to Slesers. They said that Slesers is an excellent example of how a Riga boy can succeed in business, earn lots of money and be wealthy. Ainārs Šlesers Ekis said that Slesers "a businessperson who has dabbled in politics", and continued, "I wish that there were a leader in Latvia who would make I feel satisfied."

Slesers pointed out the necessity of having a goal as the main method of achieving it. The current government, headed by Valdis Dombrskis (New Era), "is attempting to calm the nation and assure it that everything will be well." But it's risky to live off credit, because the money that is borrowed will need to be returned at some point or another.

Slesers stated that For A Good Latvia would ensure that biblical studies are introduced to all schools beginning on September 1 next year.
