Microsoft today announced that the Steam Deck Xbox games list has been expanded to include 11 popular Xbox-published titles that are now confirmed or playable on Valve's platforms. Although the list doesn't include the Steam Deck Halo Infinite compatibility that Microsoft had hoped for however, it does include Fable and Gears Tactics as well as Minecraft Dungeons and all other Halo games that aren't FPS-based.
As PCGamesN reported yesterday, there are now more than 2,000 Steam Deck Verified or Playable games, but there are still approximately 1,000 games that are not supported. MINECRAFT EGGWARS SERVERS of the games that are not supported include major Xbox games such as Halo Infinite and Gears 5, due to problems with Easy Anti-Cheat.
Xbox Games Pass Ultimate subscribers can stream Xbox games on Steam Deck. However, Steam Deck users who wish to download the games are typically out of luck. It's a good thing for those who want to download them, as Xbox Games Studios today reveals an additional set of Steam Deck compatible games - which , unfortunately, doesn't contain the most recent Halo or Gears games, however it does include Halo Wars, Gears Tactics, Minecraft Dungeons, and the sole major Fable game available on PC.
