Pick a dream you are enthusiastic about. Take your time. The most important step in the success of a new venture is to make certain that it is the right choice for you. You have to be truly passionate about the dream and believe that it can be successful. It's more important than what business you choose to pursue that you are convinced of the vision behind. After you've begun your process, don't hesitate to adjust your plans during the course of your journey. It's best to be flexible and make improvements in the beginning rather than spending more time or money.

Rami Beracha’s advice to students at Herzliya’s Interdisciplinary Center is based on his own personal experience. Rami is a young man who, decided to pursue law school. Though he wasn't sure if it was the best career choice, he pursued his legal studies, earned a Master’s in New York and worked as an intern in an international law firm. But, during his time at the Wall Street law firm, the lawyer realized that he had a passion for business, more than law. He quit his job and relocated to France to study for an MBA.

After graduating in the year 1996, Beracha began her career at the Venture Capital Fund Pitango, the biggest venture capital investment fund in Israel. Pitango is an investment fund that invests early stage companies, in high-tech core areas. It has over 200 investment and 85 exits. Rami was appointed managing partner in 2000. Over the next 18-years the company was involved in a variety of deals that resulted in successful exits for large corporations in the Fortune 500 like Broadcom, Marvel and Cisco.
It didn't end there. Globes presented Beracha with the "Esteemed Partner Award" in 2011, recognizing his status as an investor of influence. Rami initiated a new project named Sosa in 2014. Sosa operates Innovation centers located in New York and Tel Aviv which assist innovative high-tech firms in working with global entrepreneurs looking to work with promising Israeli startups. Sosa was recently appointed to oversee the development and operation of New York City's cyber center.

Beracha is currently working on a couple of new projects. He has recently co-founded a London-based venture capital firm that is based on blockchain, along with a group business partners. Beracha has helped establish Israel as a major global high tech center and is in a position to enter a larger market. Beracha has stated that the fund's creation is compatible with his outlook on business. They're looking for enthusiastic firms to help blockchain achieve its right spot at the leading edge of the latest concepts that will accelerate the pace of change in the world.

Beracha plans to establish a Middle Eastern fund for venture capital. Beracha believes that now is the right moment to invest in the Arab Market, after the recent conclusion of Abraham Accords with Israel and United Arab Emirates. What better place to begin than the affluent and super modern Dubai? Ender Ventures or his newest fund is the concept behind Ender Ventures. This fund will support UAE high-tech companies in the fields of virtual reality and artificial intelligence. The United Arab Emirates has a unique business perspective. The low tax rate and the business-friendly laws will make it an attractive destination for many businesses over the next few decades.

Rami Bechacha's tense past
While Rami Beracha is a successful person today, his path was not always smooth. Like most Israelis, Beracha joined the army as a young man. He was a Paratrooper's Brigade combat soldier and participated during the Lebanon War. Rami was a part of a group which helped wounded soldiers on the minefield. It was 1983. Rami however, fell upon a mine hidden under his feet, and suffered a severe injured.

His rehabilitation period in the hospital was one of the most challenging times of his life. He was not able to move and fell into despair and depression. His hopes of advancing his career in the army seemed lost, and he didn't know who was he anymore. In the midst of his struggles, Rami was able to discover the drive to keep living and create new dreams. Rami decided to live a life that was better and more satisfying than it was before his injuries. Rami was the first to explore different extreme sports. Today, he enjoys snowboarding and kitesurfing, as well as hiking up Mount Kilimanjaro. He often feels his unrestrained past pushing him to his limits and pushing him to the limit.

He volunteers for many organisations and also makes donations. He is passionate about helping young men who suffered from combat injuries. Rami was part of a group who suffered injuries during his time in the army on the Nepal trip in the year 2016. In the year 2018, Rami was elevated to the rank of Major in the Israeli Military's Paratrooper and Fire Brigades. The dreams of his childhood had come to fruition, despite the hardships. His life and story is a great inspiration to others, never to give up no matter the circumstances. Rami did not let his injuries stop him from pursuing his goals; he kept learning and trying new things until he was more resilient than before.
