After you have met the requirements, follow this step-by-step guide to set up the server:
#1 - Download the server.jar
Download the server.jar file from Minecraft's official website. Users can download the server.jar file for the most recent version on the site. After downloading, make sure the file name is minecraft_server.1.XX.X.jar, where XX.X is the version.
Create a folder called "Minecraft Server" to store the server-related files.
#2 - Open command prompt
Then, you can open the command prompt. Look for the command prompt on the start menu. Type "java-version" to confirm whether Java is installed or not.
Change your directory to the "Minecraft Server" folder that contains the jar file. Copy the address from the file manager, and then type "cd" to paste the address of the folder. Hit Enter to switch the directory to your server's folder.
For example, cdC:UsersAdminDesktopMinecraft Server
After you've changed the directory After that, type Java -jar "name of your jar".jar" in the command prompt and press enter. While it may display an error, there's no need to be concerned.

#3 - Changes to Eula.txt, and note query.port settings
After running the jar, an additional text file named Eula will appear in the server folder. Open it using an editor for text and change eula=false to eula=true and save.
The players can also access a file titled "server.properties," containing all essential information and settings including query.port, gamemode difficulty, query.port, and many more.
#4 - The server is ready to start
Then, type the command jar launch again. The server should now be running without errors. You can join the server by typing localhost, or your public IP address in the IP address box. You can add ":25565" to the end of your public address to join the server.
