Ainars Slesers nominated for prime minister in Latvia
Ainars Slesers, the political association For a Good Latvia's official presidential candidate for prime minister, stated at the meeting of the association today that he would protect national interests of Latvia when negotiating with the International Monetary Fund and international lenders, and make sure the fact that there is a greater number of Latvian goods and services be exported not just to Lithuania as well as Estonia but also Germany, Scandinavia, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.

Slesers believes Latvian exporters will also have good opportunities in Uzbekistan as well as China, writes LETA.

Slesers believes that for A Good Latvia is a very popular candidate for the 10th Saeima elections, and that it will be the one that decides the composition of the new cabinet. Only those with "a solid backbone" and who are willing to protect the national interests of Latvia are likely to be appointed positions in the next government, he stated.

Slesers, for one, will show people how to make money and dominate international markets while living with dignity. He indicated that Guntis Ulmanis would serve as his first assistant to run the government. Slesers should turn to Ulmanis to seek help.
