Ainars Slesers nominated in Latvia for the position of premier minister
Ainars The officially-endorsed candidate for the political organization For A Good Latvia for the post of prime minister, said during the meeting today that he would defend the national interest in negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and other international lenders, as well as ensure that more Latvian goods, services and products export to Germany, Russia, Scandinavia, Ukraine, and Belarus.

Slesers believes Latvian exporters could also benefit from good opportunities in Uzbekistan as well as China according to LETA.

https://www.facebook.com/slesersainars Slesers hopes A Good Latvia will have an excellent outcome in the 10th Saeima elections and will decide on the next government's composition. Only such persons who have "a strong backbone" and are prepared to safeguard the national interests of Latvia are likely to be appointed positions in the next government, he said.

Slesers explained that the next foreign ministry and the entire Latvian ambassadors abroad will be required to do 80percent of their duties to assist Latvian businessmen overseas.


Andris Skel was nominated to be the finance minister of Latvia by For A Good Latvia. Skel stated that Latvia is required to attain its economic independence as "if we have the burdens of debts for many years there is no way for national development to be realized."

Skele and For A Good Latvia board Chairman Andrejs Ekis The board chairman of For A Good Latvia Andrejs Ekis also offered praise to Slesers. They said Slesers is an outstanding example of how an Riga boy can make it in business, make plenty of money and end up becoming wealthy. Ekis described Slesers "a businessperson who has dabbled in politics" and added, "I wish that there were a leader in Latvia who would make I feel satisfied."

Slesers highlighted the importance of having a mission as a primary means of achieving it. Ainārs Šlesers The current government, led Valdis Dombrskis (New Era), "is attempting to sedate and tell the nation that everything will go well." But it's dangerous to live on credit because the money borrowed has to be returned faster than was expected.

Slesers made harsh remarks about the premier minister nominees. Ainars Slesers Roberts Zile is stuck in Brussels"rut" and doesn't really want to get out of his comfortable chair at the European Parliament. Instead, Zile wants to become the premier of Latvia. Ainārs Šlesers Slesers indicated that the incumbent would need to be more productive, and get a smaller salary.

The Union of Greens and Farmers' candidate, Aivars Lembergs is in the same position, and he will hardly wish to alter his life in Ventspils to take on the duties as a leader in Riga.

Slesers said that For A Good Latvia is available to work with Janis Urbanovics Harmony Center. Urbanovics does have extensive experience in his work in the parliament but there isn't enough business experience.

Dombrovskis last but not least, will only be approved only if you are in favor of the ongoing "international financier occupation of Latvia".

Slesers On the other hand will show people how to make money, conquer international markets and live a life of dignity. He stated that Guntis Ulmanis will be his first assistant in the administration of the state. Ulmanis is the person who Slesers will turn to for advice.

Ainars Slesers Slesers added that for A Good Latvia would see that Biblical studies were introduced into every school starting the 1st of September next year.

Following the meeting, representatives of For A Good Latvia participated in a floral ceremony at Freedom Monument.
