There are psychological reasons to bet
Gambling can be considered the second-oldest profession that has been discovered by man. Apart from the primitive instincts that drove the apes through their evolution The one factor that created Homo sapiens stand out in the battle for survival was their innate need to gamble and become a hero among their people. The attraction to the unknown and events that had an outcome beyond our control set the foundation for science, religion and mythology, as well as the knowledge that became the foundation of our species. After all , weren't Adam and Eve gambling with destiny and order of Lord when they took the taste of forbidden fruit? Behold! It's remarkable how their gamble resulted in a profit...

Our minds have been trained to be attracted by games of chance. It can be attributed to our prehistoric ancestors who were constantly fighting for their lives. They were able to beat these odds and was the secret to their survival, and the survival of their people. Today, we are in the 21st century. Today's gambling industry is multi-billion-dollar. It is thriving on the excitement and desire of the modern day gamblers who are always "nearly" winning the jackpot. What compels a hard-nosed businessman or executive with fancy degrees; a testimony to the shrewdness and logic that has guided them through all areas of their lives; to blow away their hard earned cash in just one night in an obscene casino, makes for an interesting research project that sheds an understanding of the motivations and motives of a brain which is constantly on the edge.

The first thing to do is be aware that gamblers of all kinds do not fit into stereotype images that other non-gamblers have of them. We're referring to stereotypes at the opposite extreme of this spectrum. One stereotype is of a sultry, sophisticated, ladies man who is a shrewd drinker, who can appreciate wine and has always three aces on his sleeve This image is reinforced through James Bond like characters that make gambling glamorous and sexy up. Another side is the ugly cousin of this gorgeous-devil. He's a social rot in need, addicted to drugs, stealing, and fighting, all for the pleasure of gambling. He is now a threat to his family as well as society because he is so dependent on it. Our real life gambler is in the middle of this spectrum.

In real life the gambling community can be classified into three main classes each having their own sets of motives and reasons. They are:

1.) Casual Gamblers or low risk gamblers:

They view gambling as a sport. They are the ones who bet their relatives who are passionate over the Euro Cup outcome. They see gambling as one of the many abilities they must demonstrate that they belong in the world. Since computer demands that they do this, or because they gain pleasure from it, they engage in gambling. They know when to put aside their excess and when it is time to leave.

2) 2) Problem Gamblers or habitual Gamblers

This category consists of gamblers who have evolved from a pastime to a serious business. They aren't able to breaking the habit of gambling due to their addiction. The problem gamblers are those who gamble regularly.

3.) fun games to play :

This is the class that probably consists of the people who contribute to the second stereotype mentioned earlier. The term "pathological" is used in psychological usage as a compulsion marked by an ability to resist overwhelming and irrational desires. People who are pathological gamblers have a irrational desire to gamble but are unable to judge when it is time to stop. The game becomes their primary purpose, just like a drug addict. Many of them also have other behavior disorders afflicting their personality - which is known as co-morbidity. People falling in this category need strong help to drive them out of this state of denial.

This was the classification of gamblers with their reasons for what they are. Let's look at how these people move through each stage. What triggers an individual in the world of gambling? In the past in the past, for our ancestors, to avoid risk was a big risk that they can not afford to take. Considering from where we stand today, going into deep dark forests using only stone tools to track a beast was a perilous chance that we don't take in today. It was their way of life. Slowly but surely, this ability to take risks is a part of everyone. For a novice the risks of gambling are such a small amount and the reward is so high that for him it makes sheer common sense to continue. It's hard to not be drawn to the glamorous profession. The games are usually designed in a way that gamblers believe that his skill is improving and that he is getting closer than ever to winning. If this is not managed, it could result in an addiction and eventually addiction. In essence, gambling is about two universal emotions : the desire to be a millionaire without actually working to win it and the dread of letting go of the dream, no matter the stakes.
