You will be collected from the Cairns Aquarium by Cairns Discovery Tours for your afternoon city sights and surrounds guided tour. A variety of educational activities on site include hikes to the bat cave, historic mining town tours, hydro-electric tours (entire facility is off the grid), astronomy, geology, etc. Beautiful views down the valley. Thirteen miles of trails are accessible by way of these special chairs (which visitors should reserve ahead of time) including Davis Pond’s 3.5-mile loop and Mason Creek Trail (2.5 miles roundtrip), both of which take visitors through coniferous forests and aspen meadows.

Trained guides take visitors in wheelchairs out into the sand, and if you forget to reserve a chair, the park also has accessible paths to the edge of Medano Creek, with a viewing platform just above the creek bed.
