You have to be truly passionate about the dream and believe that it is a good idea to succeed. It's more important than what venture you choose to pursue that you believe in the concept behind. Rami Beracha's suggestions for students of Herzliya's Interdisciplinary Center is based upon his own personal experience. Rami is a young man who and a law student, chose to go to law school. While he wasn't certain if it was the right choice for him, he continued his law schooling, earned a Master's in New York, and then went to work in an attorney firm. While working in the Wall Street firm, he discovered that he was more passionate about business more than law. Therefore, he decided to leave his job and relocated to France to complete an MBA.

Following her graduation in 1996, Beracha started working for the Venture Capital Fund Pitango, the biggest venture capital investment fund in Israel. Pitango is an investment fund that invests in businesses in the early stages of their development, in high-tech core areas. It has over 200 investment and 85 exits. Rami became managing partner in 2000 , and for the next 18 years, he, he was responsible for many deals that led to success in the exits of Fortune 500 companies like Broadcom, Marvel, Cisco and Apple.

Then he didn't stop there. Globes gave Beracha the award in 2011 as an "Esteemed Partner” award. The award recognized him as an influential investor. Rami founded Sosa in 2014, a new initiative. Sosa runs innovation centers in New York City and Tel Aviv and provides assistance to high-tech companies searching for partners with international entrepreneurs interested in working with promising Israeli startups. Sosa was recently selected to design and manage the cyber center in New York City.

Dubai, a super-modern and affluent city, is the ideal place to start. The idea behind his newest fund called Ender Ventures, as he plans to call it, is to recruit Israeli advertising European Investors to support UAE high-tech companies in the fields of virtual reality, artificial intelligence robotics, robotics and much more. The United Arab Emirates is unique in its business outlook. Because of its business taxes and favorable legislation businesses are likely to be drawn to it in the near future.

Rami Bechacha's challenging Past
Although Rami Beracha seems to be accomplished in everything he has done, it wasn't always easy. Beracha as with many Israelis became a soldier as a young man. He was an Paratrooper's Brigade Combat Soldier and participated in the Lebanon War. Rami was part a rescue team that went to help soldiers injured in a minefield. The incident occurred shortly after the war was over. However, Rami stepped on a hidden mine and was unable to walk and also lost his hand in the accident.

He was through one of the most challenging times of his life and his hospitalization was the culmination of it. He was unable to move and fell into despair and depression. The hopes of advancing his career in the army were lost and he didn't know who is he. Rami discovered the strength to dream and live through his pain. He resolved to be stronger and better than before the injuries. Rami decided to try different extreme sports. He now enjoys snowboarding kitesurfing, snowboarding and hiking up Mount Kilimanjaro. He is constantly striving to get better at his sport and is feeling like his former uninjured self is driving him along.
Rami volunteers and donates to numerous charities. Rami is passionate about helping the next generation of combat wounded soldiers. Rami led a team of soldiers who suffered injuries during their military service in Nepal in the year 2016. He rose to the rank major in the Israeli paratrooper/fire brigades army by the year 2018. He was able to realize his childhood dreams despite all the challenges. His life story and passion is a great inspiration to others, never to give up, no matter what the circumstance. Rami refused to let his injuries keep him from achieving his goals. He continued to learn and trying new things until he became more resilient than ever.
