Our biggest mistake is to think that we're in complete alignment in our expectations of each side without trying to figure out what our counterparts expect from us. There is however one thing that we nearly always are in agreement on: he won't overlook the chance ....to increase the expectations gap. And there is no one on the planet to warn us of the coming conflict.
There are a myriad of reasons that could lead to miscommunications. Square personalities are more likely to miscommunicate more than liberal people, while people who are aggressive might have trouble matching their expectations to the expectations of passive people. It is simple to recognize the difference between squared from liberal, whereas aggressive can be distinguished from passive.

There are two types of human beings that are called humans. Certain of us fall in the "full-circle" category, which is an individual who is totally independent and doesn't believe that he needs a partner. It's true that he wants to be with someone and yes, he's always in search of one. Absolutely! Absolutely! ... He can still survive without his dream partner. He is determined to live his life with his love and is determined to complete his circle.
The "half-a circle" type is the other face of the human race. (No, it's not the full-circle type that was damaged in the birth). They will not let go of their miserable animal when they discover it. To create an encircling circle, they'll try to make their victim feel more physically. The Halves do not want to compromise their desire to stare at each other from a distance that is zero for the rest. Their desire to be one with their partner and make a complete unit can only be satisfied by an intimate relationship.
One of the most fascinating observations between different types is how they decide to leave their companion. A partner who has lost their chemistry with the whole circle will be released easily by the entire circle. However, half-circles will redefine the concept of chemistry between partners to be - "I am holding onto this B..ST..RD. until I am able to replace him with a better version."
Imagine the incredible dance that occurs when a "half circle", and a 'full-circle", are trying to make each other, and not even noticing their differing geometries. The Half smiles and makes two steps ahead. The Full is a bit frightened by this unwelcome invasion to be somewhat frightening. So he fixes this zone-invasion-problem by making a gentle step backward. The issue is that he accomplished this by removing the Half of his comfort zone . When the Half thinks that the Full committed an error that was not his fault and took another step forward, the Half starts to get irritated and takes another step in the opposite direction.. The Full.. Half.. and the Half are all pissed off. They aren't sure why, but they lack proper terms and are unable to describe it. So they go to the wrong places. They could be a lot easier for them to live if they understood the difference between the Half and Full.
Although there isn't a single conclusion, there are a variety of actions that can be taken.
