Our biggest mistake is that, for no good reason, we almost always assume complete alignment in the expectations of both parties without trying to discern our partner's mind to understand what his expectations of us. There is however one thing we can almost always are in agreement on: he won't miss the chance ....to increase the expectations gap. We don't even need anyone to alert us of the upcoming conflict.
There are many causes of miscommunications. They are usually related to our personal personas. Squared personalities are more likely than those with liberal personalities to miscommunicate, and individuals who are aggressive may have difficulty in coordinating expectations with passive. This is simple to spot as everyone can tell squared from liberal and passive from aggressive.
Imagine if they were different? It is possible that there is a personality gap between them yet we do not know about it. No one has ever discovered it or been warned of or studied it. !
Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to present to you an entirely different kind of personality The FULL and half circle people! !
Note : This is a the guidance for your behavior. After you have read the analysis, try and figure out which you are the most like in your character. Two kinds of human beings exist. There are those who are "full-circle" types who are self-contained and is completely comfortable alone. He requires a companion. Absolutely! To create the illusion of a happy circle, they'll try to join their victim physically. The Halves don't want to compromise on anything less than staring at each other from a zero distance for the rest of their lives. It is impossible for them to feel more intimate than that.
An interesting observation in these two types: the choice to let a partner go. The whole circle will typically let go of a person with whom he has lost chemistry very quickly. On the other hand, half-circle types redefine the meaning of chemistry between two people to be - "I am holding on to this B..ST..RD. until I can replace him with an upgrade."
Imagine the awe-inspiring dance happening when a "half-a-circle" and the "full-circle" attempt to make one each other their partner, without being conscious of their distinct geometries. The Half takes two steps forward far beyond the comfort zone of the Full who find this unexpected invasion into his own personal space a bit intimidating. So he fixes this zone-invasion-problem by making a gentle step backward. The issue is that he has stepped out of his comfort zone .... and while the Half was certain that the Full had made an innocent error The Half starts to get frustrated and takes another step in the opposite direction. The Half and the Full understand why, but aren't using the correct language. They can't properly explain their feelings, so they search for the wrong things. They could have saved their lives knowing that one half and the other is Full.
There isn't a single conclusion to this essay , but there are some actions items:
