Rami Beracha Believes That There Are Many Investment Opportunities To be Found, Even in the Coronavirus Economy

Rami Beracha's advice to students of Herzliya's Interdisciplinary Center is based on his personal experience. When he was young, Rami decided to study law. Though he wasn't sure if it was the right option for him, he decided to study law and got an MBA in New York. He then worked overseas in a law firm. He realized, though, that he had a passion more for business than he did law while working for a Wall Street law firm. He decided to leave his job and move to France to pursue an MBA.
Following her graduation from the college, in 1996, Beracha began working at Pitango Venture Capital Fund the largest venture capital fund. Pitango works with companies in the initial stages of growth, and focuses on the most important sectors within high-tech. Pitango has invested over 200 times and has made over 85 exits. Rami became the managing partner at Pitango in the year 2000. He led several deals that led to success in the exits of fortune 500 companies like Broadcom and Marvel, Cisco, and Apple in the following 18 years.

It didn't end there. Globes gave Beracha the award in 2011 as an "Esteemed Partner” award. The award recognized him as an investor of influence. Rami launched a new venture known as Sosa in 2014. Sosa operates innovation centers located in New York City and Tel Aviv and provides assistance to high-tech companies looking for partners with international entrepreneurs keen to work with promising Israeli startups. Sosa was recently appointed to oversee the construction and operation of the city's cyber center.

Newest Investment Dreams Amidst Covid19
Rami Beracha believes there are always new opportunities. Even though the past couple of years have been difficult economically since the coronavirus's inception, he still believes that there are plenty of opportunities. He recommends searching for new companies that could have a substantial digital disruption that may be "Covid Long".

Beracha also has some new projects. A group of business partners and Beracha have recently established an investment fund based in London. Beracha has played a key role in establishing Israel as a major global high tech center and is ready for a wider market. Beracha's vision for business is revealed in the new fund. It states that "We are experts in technology, however we only invest in mission-driven people." They're seeking passionate companies to help blockchain get its place at forefront of new innovative concepts that will propel the world forward.

In addition to the European fund, Beracha has plans for another Middle Eastern venture capital fund. After the Abraham Accords that Israel and the United Arab Emirates recently signed, he believes it is the right moment to invest in the Arab market. Dubai is the perfect starting point, because it is wealthy and very modern. His new fund, Ender Ventures as he calls it, will unite Israeli and European Investors to support UAE high tech companies that specialize in virtual reality, artificial intelligence and robotics. The United Arab Emirates' business perspective is unparalleled. The tax rates are low and the business-friendly laws will make it a magnet for many companies in the coming decades.
Rami Bechacha's Challenging Past
Although today it seems that Rami Beracha succeeds in everything that he's chosen to do, his life was not always easy. Beracha was just a teenager when was drafted into the army. He was a soldier with the Paratrooper's Brigade and fought through the Lebanon War. Rami was a part of a rescue group that helped wounded soldiers in the minefield. It was 1983. Rami was swept into a buried mine, and he lost both his foot as well as his hand.
The hospitalization he had to endure was one of his most difficult experiences. He couldn't walk , and was depressed and despairing. All of his dreams of furthering his army career seemed lost, and he wasn't sure who was he anymore. In the midst of his struggles, Rami was able to discover the drive to keep moving forward and to create new goals. He determined to be better and stronger than he had been before his injuries. Rami took the initiative to explore other extreme sports. He is now a kitesurfer and snowboarding, and has been on the mountain of Mount Kilimanjaro. He is often awed by his uncontrollable past pushing him to the limit and racing him.

He gives donations and is a volunteer for many organisations and is extremely dedicated to helping young men, just like him suffered injuries in battle. Rami led a group that was wounded while serving in the army on a Nepal trip in the year 2016. In 2018, he received promoted to the rank of major in the Israeli army's fire and paratrooper brigades. His dreams as young people could be realized be realized, despite the challenges he faced. His story and his passion can be a source of inspiration for others. Rami didn't let injuries hold him back as he continued learning and exploring new techniques until he was even more resilient than prior to.
