The biggest error we make is always believing that there is complete alignment in expectations from both sides. We don't want to read our partner's thoughts to find out what his expectations are. However, there is one thing we can almost always agree on: he doesn't overlook an opportunity ....to widen the expectation gap. There's nobody to inform us of the coming conflict.

There are many causes for miscommunications, and most of them are related to our personality. Square personalities are more likely to communicate in a misguided manner more than liberal people, while individuals who are aggressive may have trouble aligning their expectations with the expectations of passive people. This isn't difficult to identify - we all know that liberal is squared, and aggressive from passive.

Note : This is a behavioral guidance. After reading the following analysis, try and determine which type of you are the most like in your character. At the same time, try to figure the person who your partner in real life. If you discover you are two different people - as Bono sings, "we can be one however we are not the same", - you should be very happy as you might have found the cause of many of your differences. If however, you're identical in your appearance, then I'm sorry that I'm not able to tell you the reason why your relationships appear so terrible.

Humans are divided into two categories. There are two kinds of humans one of which is the "full circle" type, who is totally self-contained and feels completely at ease being by themselves. He does need partners, yes, he wants a partner, and yes he is in continuous search of a partner. Absolutely! This is absolutely true. ... But, he'll be able to survive without a dream partner until he gets it. He is determined to spend his entire life with his love and is determined to be able to complete his circle.
The "half-a circle" type is the other aspect of humankind. (No, it's not full-circle , but it was damaged during the delivery). Once they have found the miserable animal, they won't let go. They'll try to physically join their victim in order to form a joyful circle... and don't give them this bullshit of living shoulder to shoulder! They will not compromise their desire to be capable of looking at each with each other for the rest of their lives. It is impossible for them to be more connected than that.
A notable distinction between these types is the choice to let go of a partner. The full circle will typically let go relatively quickly from the person he has lost his chemistry with. Half-circle people, however, redefine what 'having mutually having chemistry with their partner' to mean - 'im holding on to this B..ST..RD until I can safely replace them with a proper upgrade'.
Imagine the incredible dance that occurs in which a "half circle" and a "full-circle", are trying to make each other, and not even noticing their distinct geometrical shapes. The Half is smiling and makes two steps in the direction of. The Full considers this unwanted invasion a bit scary. So he fixes this zone-invasion-problem by making a gentle step backward. He took the Half out of his comfortable zone . While the Half believes that the Full made an innocent mistake, and graciously compensated by taking another step forward, the Half becomes more worried and starts to feel angry. They understand why, but due to lack of proper terminology and the inability to properly describe their plight and turn towards the wrong directions! It would be a lot easier for them to live if they had known the difference between the Half and Full.
