That is the newest model of Minecraft. I own it on iPad, so I simply downloaded the .ipa file from my iPad and it installed high quality on my Mac. It runs very fast, and allows as much as an 80 chunk draw distance. I used a PS4 controller to play. It will possibly connect via bluetooth or USB.

This isn't excellent but, because it ought to play full display screen/res vs. taking part in in a window. But my level is that it is going to be trivial for Microsoft to update this to work perfectly on this Mac.

Let me know when you've got any questions or if there's a selected thing you want to see me do like connect with a server or download one thing from the shop (all of which work). Or I can play multiplayer in the event you wish to see that.

Sorry there is no sound within the recording. It doesn't seem just like the macOS inbuilt display screen recorder can seize sound. I can guarantee you all Minecraft sounds are working high quality.

Wait, how would you replace this? Would you need to update it on your iPad and download the .ipa to your Mac again? And the place are the world files saved?

I hope Mojang updates bedrock to work with M1 Macs. Till then, you can use Bignox, an Android Emulator, in your Mac. The rationale I say Bignox instead of BlueStacks is as a result of for Minecraft PE, Bignox has built in controls.

Me, too. It’s one of those things that needs to be an easy “gimme” for them.

Then why not leverage it as a Xbox exclusive additionally? They ported the bedrock edition to Playstation 4.

Sure. Anything you've updated on your iPad appears in iMazing and you can obtain the .ipa again. I simply upgraded to the latest version this fashion and it really works quickly and easily.

And, they presently have it below macOS for Java. Bedrock would join a great variety of users already within the macOS ecosystem with their In App Purchases, which might make them no small sum of money, seemingly value taking the small effort to tweak the iOS model. Plus, they wouldn’t have to support the Java model natively on M1 machines.

I’d be stunned in the event that they didn’t have somebody working on this already.

Working the iPhone ipa works wonderful on my M1 MacBook Pro high-quality, however the controller support appears damaged, it drifts and sticks, so it's all the time spinning off in random directions.

Anyone else operating into controller issues with Minecraft on an M1?

Yes. As of Massive Sur 11.1 all iOS apps can run full screen.

Caveats:
- It is 4:3 on a 16:9 display so you find yourself with black bars on the sides.
- The lower decision is more noticeable when in full display screen.

Remember that is basically the iPad app operating on Mac. It's totally fast because it runs native. However there are limitations as a result of it doesn't actually "know" it's on a higher decision MacBook/Mini.

Just fired it up and performed some time using my DS4 on Bluetooth. No drift or every other issues. Normally that can be what occurs when the stick is dying (I have a pair dead DS4s with this downside). But that's odd if it's occurring with two different controllers. Do you may have a different DS4 you'll be able to strive? What version Minecraft are you running (lower proper nook on primary menu).

Does the issue happen instantly, or only after you play for a while? I solely performed about 10 minutes tonight; but may attempt longer tomorrow.

If you utilize highlight to seek for "Minecraft" you'll find the worlds. On my machine the trail appears like this:

Code:
/Customers/MK500/Library/Containers/blah-blah-lengthy-code-here/Data/Paperwork/games/com.mojang

Are you able to ship a video tutorial for this? I'm not sure how you'll get the brand new world files to the brand new .ipa. Also, if you install Minecraft through iOS, will the resolution/side ratio like an iPad or an iPhone? (sorry for late reply, in some way i did not get an email notification)
Edit: truly nvm, i found a youtube comment saying you possibly can launch app retailer in imazing and download updates that method (syncing through wi-fi)

Because it happens I did this yesterday. I used the Apple Configurator 2 methodology, but it's a lot the identical. Quite simple, however the trick was to airdrop the .ipa to the Apple Silicon Mac (i.e. use one other Mac to get the .ipa from the iPad after which airdrop). This step removes the "you do not need permission to run this" error message.

The aspect ratio is 4:3, so in full screen I have black bars on either facet on my 16:9 32" 4K show.

The .ipa is the app, not your world or save information. You'll must retrieve those through your account or airdrop the world files. In my case the world we used was a realm, so simply log-in with your Microsoft account for Minecraft. I've used airdrop to transfer worlds to and from my kids's gadgets.

I imply, I suppose that's kinda annoying you need to do that each update, however it's not too dangerous. And it is operating natively, so that's good.

I additionally used my M1 mini (16GB/1TB) as a Minecraft server using ARM64 Java. Predictably no problem at all for the mini.

I can never get keyboard and mouse to work on iPad or M1. I don't understand why it's exhibiting to have keyboard support but nothing works. Is there a special setting I am missing? The one approach to play is through controller it seems.

Similar here. Have to use a controller (or touch display screen on iPad). Mouse on M1 acts like a finger on touchscreen. Keyboard is only for chat/commands. Unusual that they left the redundant keyboard mouse part of the settings menu in when it does nothing.

You're not missing settings: despite iOS 14's latest addition for apps so as to add keyboard controls, Mojang hasn't added that into Minecraft PE. The only means is a controller, except Mojang provides that in.

It is strange, why have it there if it is ineffective?

The worlds will not be removed if you update the app, as they are stored in a unique location. So you may safely replace without dropping your data.

For now it's once more attainable to put in iOS apps to M1. It is unsure how lengthy that is. So, might want to obtain and install whereas it's potential. The iAmaizing2 answer worked for me.
