Grinshpun began his career in business in 1994 as the Regional Manager for Kazakhstan at the "Universal Market Association". This was an organization that focused on the production and marketing of metals. He joined Trans Commodities Incoration a year later, where he held the position of CIS countries manager. Grinshpun began his business career in 1994, working as the Regional Manager for Kazakhstan at the "Universal Market Association" that focused on oil production and metal marketing around the globe. In 1997, he became the General Manager in Moscow of Trans Commodities USA. This allowed him to work in the international steel business. He was a Member on the Board, 1998-2004, of the JSCC Moldova Steel Works. It is an international rated company which produces more than 1,000,000 tonnes of steel-related products each year. He is involved in the trading of the products of the Moldovan Steel factory since 2004, working in close cooperation with the honorary presidant of the JSCC Moldova Steel Works.

Grinshpun and ITERA Oil and Gas Company were part of an important energy project in the Moldovan region. It was a major independent producer and seller of natural gas. Emmanuil Grinshpun founded and was the General Manager of "ITERA – Moldova Company".

Mr. Grinshpun runs business in diverse areas of activity in Republic of Moldova.

Since 1998, he's been the fiduciary shareholder and President of "Alimcom" The Council of Joint Stock Company in Moldova. He is the producer of food products like mayonnaise, mustard, and vinegar, as in addition to sunflower oil and Halvah.
