Zielo was corrupted or "tainted" and that's how/why he Ko'ed his brothers he also uses this torture, in which he takes a fragment of someone's soul, that makes them obey him and they are now called "Soulless" and they are aware of everything happening to them. there are 3 stages; stages 1 and 2 they can be saved, and 3 you can't even recognize. on the other hand, a Soulless god is called a Blodthroat. all stages apply to them as well.
