Pitango is an investment fund that invests early stage companies, in the high-tech core industries. It has over 200 investment and has 85 exits. Rami became the managing partner in 2000 , and for the next 18 years was in charge of many deals that led to success in the exits of fortune 500 giants such as Broadcom, Marvel, Cisco and Apple.

He didn't stop there. Globes awarded Beracha with the "Esteemed Partner", recognizing him for his work as a key investor. Rami started a new initiative named Sosa in 2014. He served in the Paratrooper's Brigade as a combat soldier, and fought during the Lebanon War. Rami was part of a rescue team that went out to assist soldiers injured in minefields. This happened shortly after the war had ended. Rami however, fell on a mine hidden beneath his feet. He was seriously injured.
His stay in the hospital was among his most challenging experiences. He couldn't move and was overwhelmed by depression and despair. His dreams of becoming an officer in the Army were not realized and he lost his sense of self. Rami recovered from his suffering and found the drive to live his life even if it required him to give the dream of his life. He made the decision to get stronger and stronger than before the injury. Rami was determined to test different extreme sports. Today, Rami enjoys kitesurfing (and snowboarding), and has even trekked Mount Kilimanjaro. He is often awed by his uncontrollable previous life pushing him to the limit and challenging him.
Rami volunteers and donates to numerous organizations. He is passionate about helping the next generation of combat wounded soldiers. Rami led a team of soldiers who sustained injuries while serving in the military in Nepal in the year 2016. In 2018 , he was awarded the rank of major in the paratrooper and fire brigades in the Israeli military. He had dreams when he was an aspiring young man, and they came true despite the many challenges. His life and story are an inspiration to others. Rami didn't let his injuries hold him back; he kept learning and experimenting until he was more resilient than prior to.
