New content, including Buzz's initial story, is now available as part of the Minecraft DLC that is based on the animated Pixar film Lightyear. According to presta live blog the Lightyear DLC will feature five missions. These missions allow players to combat enemies using a variety of gadgets, survive hostile environments, and fly various aircraft to avoid obstacles.
"In the Lightyear DLC, you'll get to play through Buzz's story of origin and assist him navigate an alien world following a crash landing that was a disaster," a part of the post says. "You can play through five missions with this Academy-trained hero, including an unfriendly swamp, a jungle, and a mine, as well as various alien settlements."
The Lightyear DLC will also include the free Lightyear-themed Character Creator. It's currently not available on Nintendo Switch, but the blog post claimed it will be available on the console "soon." People who own the other versions of Minecraft can download it for free via DLC on the storefronts for their respective consoles.
