Some poker rooms will not accept hand histories. However, the poker rooms do have no way to track the hand histories so it should be quite safe to buy hands at established casinos. It should also be less risky than using data mining tools to gather information.

It is almost impossible to steal a game from the earliest positions players, which includes those in the middle and early ranks. The LP always had a good chance to observe the strength of the opponents' hands. If all the earliest positions are on "checked betting", this shows the potential for the late positions to scare them. They will raise bets on each pot in order to'steal' the game, knowing that "checked betting" could indicate a weak hand.
