I waited for Arnold while rereading his book and trying to use his strategies myself in online tournaments. The short of it was - it wasn't working for me. So I reverted back to my own mzone based tournament strategy and began winning again.
You can't bluff if you're short stacked, you do not have enough chips and nobody is going to be afraid to bet against you. You can only go all-in if you get a good hand.
Another tactic to use it by really pushing forward with a relentless aggressive betting strategy. It takes a little bit of faith but I find this tactics pays out more than almost any other.
One of the main problems I used to have with c-bets was that I used them every single time I raised before the flop. It was just what I believed - what kind of whimp would make a raise before the flop and then check? It just didn't seem right to make a preflop raise without a continuation bet.
visit here was having was predictability. I'd become super predictable, and therefore super exploitable, by c-betting every single flop but folding to any sign of resistance. It was the easiest thing in the world to call my c-bet and then pull a float play on me.

When you underbet the pot you give opponents the correct odds to call with straight or flush draw hands. You want to avoid this because you want them to have to fold so you can win straight away.
