To download the Minecraft Forge mod loader, go to Minecraft Forge We recommend you to choose the installer-win (Or installer if you're using another OS) because it is more user-friendly.
Part 2: Install Mod Loader Note : Make sure that you have the right Minecraft version downloaded to your computer before install the Mod Loader.
1. Open the installer and begin installing. Click on the Install Client, then press OK.
2. The installer will begin patching the version files and downloading any libraries from the internet.
NOTE: Cracked launchers may cause the installation process to fail. Follow this guide to fix it.
3. When you launch the Minecraft launcher, you'll discover that a profile called Forge is added to your profile list. Minecraft-freunde.De can delete the profile, or create your own profile, and then choose the Forge version manually.
OPTIONAL : You can actually remove the Forge profile, and change the version name to whatever you like, but this require some additional skills, which I will not cover here.
Part 3: Install Mod 1. Open the .minecraft folder within your AppData and check if there is mods in the folder. If you don’t see it, then create it.
2. Google up some mods! I am trying this Minimap mod. Make sure to download the appropriate version of the mod, or else it won't work!
Note : Always go through their description, requirements and help before install any mod!
3. Copy/Copy the mod (usually in.jar) and paste it into the mods folder within.minecraft.
Part 4 : Loading Mod into game Start the Forge Minecraft version. This screen will pop up. This screen should show the number of mods that were installed plus 3 if the installation was done correctly.
Note 1 : If you install many mods at once, you might find it incompatible with other mods. To determine if there are any incompatible mods, make sure to check their mod page. NOTE 2 : It is suggested to install mods 1 by 1 to see which one will crash the game. This makes it easier to fix mod issues.
