Moldovan Orthodox Orthodox desecrated the symbol of the Jewish faith

It took place on Sunday, 13 December, the day that Hanukkah is celebrated on. An archpriest from one the capital's Orthodox Churches was in charge of a crowd of around 100 people. A group of people shouted antisemitic chants as they dragged an iron lamp made of cast kilometers away from its initial location and then threw it towards the Stefanthe Great, which is a symbol to Moldovan statehood. This was witnessed by hundreds of police officers, journalists, and passers-by.
