While Minecraft can be played on virtually any device, many prefer playing it on a PC. This lets you play both the Java and Bedrock editions. But, you must first to install the games on your hard drive before you have a chance to play them. If you are having issues getting the Minecraft Launcher installer to work here are some tips to resolve the issue.
Sign in to verify the time, date and region
If you are having issues getting the Minecraft Launcher to install, we recommend first restarting your computer and signing out and then return to the Microsoft Store or the Xbox apps, whichever one you are using to access the launcher. You can now install the launcher with Game Pass since all Minecraft versions are available. To sign out, simply click the profile icon at the top of the page and then click Sign Out.
Also, make sure your date and time are properly displayed on your computer. If they're not, right-click on the date and time in the lower right corner of your screen and choose Adjust date/time. Make Skins that Set time automatically and Set time zone automatically are enabled. Click on Sync now to Synchronize your time. Before exiting the Settings, click on the left-hand side of the screen. make sure you have the correct region that you are in selected.
Troubleshoot Windows Store, and then update Windows
Open Settings - click on Update and Security.
- Click on the Troubleshoot tab and then select Additional troubleshooters.
Scroll to the bottom, and then select Windows Store Apps.
Follow the steps here and then reset your computer.
Open Settings and click Update & Security if you haven't updated Windows for the past. Click to check for updates under Windows Update.
Reset the store
If the troubleshooting doesn't work, we recommend resetting your store. Click on your search bar next to the Start button, and then type in the word wsreset. A black box will pop up when you click on the Run command entry. You should not do anything until the black box disappears and the store reopens.
Then step is to open Settings and then click Apps. Find the Microsoft Store in the search bar. Click it, and then select Advanced Options. Scroll down and select Reset. Log in again.
