Although Minecraft can be played on virtually any device, some prefer playing it on a PC. This lets you access both the Java and Bedrock versions. But, you must first to download the games to your hard drive before you have the chance to play them. If you're having trouble getting the Minecraft Launcher installer to work here are some tips to fix it.
Sign in to verify the date, time , and region
If you're having trouble getting the Minecraft Launcher to install, we recommend first restarting your computer and signing out and then back into the Microsoft Store or the Xbox apps, depending on which one you are using to access the launcher. You can now install the launcher via Game Pass since all Minecraft versions are available. To sign out, simply click the profile icon at the top of the screen and then click Sign Out.
Additionally, ensure that your time zone and date are being displayed correctly on your PC. If they're not, right-click on the date and time in the lower right of your screen and choose the option to adjust date/time. Make sure that Set time automatically and Set time zone automatically are turned on. Under Synchronize your clock, click"Sync" now. Before you exit the Settings screen, select Region in the left-hand corner of the screen. Make sure that the right region is selected.
Troubleshoot Windows Store and then, update Windows
- Open up Settings - Go to Update & Security.
- Click on the Troubleshoot tab and then click on Additional troubleshooters.
Scroll down to the bottom, then select Windows Store Apps.
Follow this link to reset your computer.
Open Settings and click Update & Security if you haven't updated Windows in some time. Under Windows Update, click Check for updates.
Reset the store
If the troubleshooting doesn't work, we suggest that you reset your store. Click the Start button, and then enter the word wsreset. dk's blog , and an empty black box will pop up. Do not move anything until the black box disappears and the store opens again.
Next, open Settings and then click Apps. Find the Microsoft Store in the search bar. Click on it, and then select Advanced Options. Scroll down and select Reset. Sign in again.
