This launcher has been rewritten in 2020 to use mainly a fake Java Native Interface to communicate with Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Also, shortly after the release of the first 64bit versions of the Google Play Store, this launcher, which was previously only 32bit-only, has been ported to arm64 and x86_64.
AppImageP
You can download prebuilt AppImage binary's that can run on Linux x86_64 and x86. After downloading simply open terminal, chmod +x Minecraft_Bedrock_Launcher-x86_64.0.0.661.AppImage and run it. You should be able to run it with double-click using some Filemanagers, just like a *.exe file on Windows. Otherwise run SERVERS from a Terminal ./Minecraft_Bedrock_Launcher-x86_64.0.0.661.AppImage
If this is your first time installing an AppImage you will require an Icon in your Startmenu
Install AppImageLauncher. Run the AppImage like before. AppImageLauncher will ask for you to integrate it. Click yes to continue.
FlatpakP
You can also install mcpelauncher on Linux via Flathub. First, install Flatpak and then start it.
If this is the first time you have installed a Flatpak please logout from your Computer and sign back in to find the Launcher inside your startmenu. To run it, run
macOSP
You can download prebuilt macOS binary's here. Always copy the app to a location that can be written in, otherwise the updater will not work.
