How do I get Minecraft Windows 10 Edition for FREE! (Mojang News post)



It appears that this is an unintentional post, as there seems to be no redeem button on the Mojang account page right now. I'm guessing it will be available tomorrow after the launch.

It's so tragic for their support department.



I get to the redeem button on Microsoft's account and billing page, but it says there's an error. Is there a deadline for redemption for this redemption?



Windows 10 is being rolled out "today"/"tomorrow" according to where you are. The button should be available at 12:01 Wednesday morning Sweden time.



Also not seeing a Redeem button. I can't wait for tomorrow!

If you have an addon that allows you to force https, open it, i.e. the link is only http.



Instructions:



Get the software.



Run it and follow the steps. It will format your USB drive or disk, allowing you to install.





Open the drive you have installed it on and launch the installer.





It will install and activate in a way that is automatic.





You can also save an ISO to use in the future however, you must perform an in-place update to ensure that your key is activated.



I have tested the beta and it worked perfectly.



It was just delivered to me. Minecraft servers to see how well-designed the game is. My PC's fans don't even bother to spin up and the CPU's nearly idle all the time.



Are there any differences in gameplay?



Yeah, if it runs well on mobile, you'd think it would run quite well on PC too :)

It was delivered just now. 22% CPU and 200MB on singleplayer LOL. #NEXTGEN anyways, there is some noticeable mouse delay when looking around, otherwise looks great. Really wish we could edit a few additional settings such as AA and Mip-Mapping. Textures turn mushy after a distance and the water glare is strange. Other than that, great port guys :) Now I can play with my xbox friends:P



There is a slight delay with the mouse looking around However, the overall look is fantastic.



I've noticed the same thing, mouse acceleration is also odd.



It's a sloppy port at the time. It runs on C++ so it runs extremely smooth. It needs to be improved to make it compatible with the PC audience. At the moment, it appears to be a mobile game.



Forgive me if this is an uninformed question but how do you get it? Did some users get Windows 10 early?
