Advanced Betting Techniques In Texas Hold'em Poker - Part 3 Of 3
The small blind is half the size of the big blind. The limit you play at will determine the blind amount. In Texas Holdem the blinds are put in place of antes for a very good reason. This allows the eight other players to simply fold their cards at no cost.

A small dealer button (usually a blue chip) is what identifies the dealer. After each hand is completed, the dealer button moves clockwise to the next person.

This and all subsequent betting round, the action begins with a player who is still in the hand to his left of the dealer. This player can either check, or bet (he cannot increase as no bets were made in this round). He should also not fold because it does nothing to him to remain in the hand. As in the previous betting round, the play continues clockwise around the table until all players have called, checked or folded and the amount placed in the pot by each player still in the hand is equal.

Before you are dealt your three cards, keep in mind the following hands, ranked from highest- to lowest- Straight Flush. Three of a kind, Straight Flush. Straight Flush. Straight Flush. Straight Flush. Flush. Pair. High Card. The name of the game is to win by hitting a high hand with only three cards in play.

Texas hold'em has four betting rounds. Each round involves each player being dealt two cards face up, known as the hole cards. They also receive five community card faces up that all players can use. It is the player who has the highest five card poker hand at showdown who wins the pot.

Crazy Pineapple gives each player three pocket cards, and then the game continues with another round of betting. The dealer then turns over three community card (the flop), and a second round follows. All players must then discard one of their pockets cards. The turn cards are flipped and then a round is held of betting. visit here is then flipped and a fourth round of betting take place. Players have two options: they can use all of their remaining pocket cards and three of their community cards to make the best five-card poker hand. Or, they can choose to use only one of their four community cards and one of their pocket cards. Players have the option to play five community cards as part of their hand. This poker variant adds an extra strategic dimension when you discard one of the pocket cards.
