However, through his work in the Wall Street law firm, he realized that he actually loved business more than law. He quit his job and relocated to France to pursue an MBA.
Following her graduation in the year 1996, Beracha joined the Venture Capital Fund Pitango. It is Israel's largest venture capital firm. Pitango is focused on early-stage companies creating core areas in high-tech and has received more than 200 investment from its investors and exited more than 85 companies so far. Rami became the managing partner in 2000 , and for the next 18 years was in charge of dozens of deals resulting success in the exits of fortune 500 giants such as Broadcom, Marvel, Cisco and Apple.
It didn't end there. Globes in 2011 conferred Beracha "Esteemed Partner" recognition, recognising his influence as an investor. In 2014 Rami established a new company known as Sosa. Sosa is home to the innovation centers located in New York (and Tel Aviv) where they collaborate with global entrepreneurs and assist innovative high tech companies. Sosa was recently chosen to design and manage the cyber center in New York City.

Today, Rami Beracha seems to be a hit in almost everything he has chosen. But his journey was not always easy. Beracha like many Israelis became a soldier as a young man. He became a combat soldier in the Paratrooper's Brigade and fought through the Lebanon War. In 1983, shortly following the end of the war, Rami was part of an emergency rescue team that was sent to aid wounded soldiers on a minefield. However, Rami stepped on a hidden mine and lost his foot and hand in the incident.

He was admitted to the hospital for rehabilitation, which was one of the most challenging times in his life. He couldn't walk and became depressed and gloomy. His hopes to advance his career in the military seemed lost , and he did not know who or what he was. Rami found the strength to live and dream again through his pain. He made the decision to get better and even stronger than he was prior to the injuries. Rami experimented with various extreme sports. Today, Rami enjoys kitesurfing (and snowboarding), and has even been on the mountain of Mount Kilimanjaro. He is constantly striving to get better at his sport and believes that his previous healthy self is driving him forward.
He donates money and volunteers for many organisations and is extremely dedicated to helping young men who, like himself suffered injuries in battle. Rami was part of a group who was injured during his time as a soldier on an Nepal trip in 2016. He was promoted to the rank of major within both the Israeli paratrooper ranks, as well as the fire brigades. He had dreams when he was a young man and they came true despite the many difficulties. His story and the passion he has for his cause provide a powerful inspiration to anyone who comes across them. Rami didn't allow the injuries to deter his progress. He continued to learn and trying new things until he became stronger than ever.
