Rami Beracha’s advice to students studying at Herzliya's Interdisciplinary Center is based on his own personal experience. Rami was a young man who decided to study Law. Though he wasn't sure whether it was the best decision for him, he continued to study law and graduated with a Master’s in New York. He then worked overseas in a law office. But, during his time at the Wall Street law firm, the lawyer realized that he was interested in business, more than law. He made the decision to quit his job and relocate to France for an MBA.

After her graduation in the year 1996, Beracha was a part of the Venture Capital Fund Pitango. This is Israel's largest venture capital investment company. Pitango focuses on companies in their early stages of developing their key areas of high-tech. It has made more than 200 investments and 85 exits as of. Rami was promoted to managing partner in 2000. Over the next 18-years, he led dozens of deals which resulted in profitable exits from Fortune 500 companies like Broadcom, Marvel and Cisco.

He didn't stop there. Globes in 2011 gave Beracha "Esteemed Partner" recognition in recognition of his work as an investor. In 2014, Rami created a new venture named Sosa. Sosa operates Innovation centers located in New York and Tel Aviv which assist innovative high-tech companies by partnering with international entrepreneurs who want to cooperate with promising Israeli startups. Sosa was recently chosen to construct and manage the cyber center in New York City.

Rami Beracha believes there are always new opportunities. While the last couple of years have proved challenging economically since the coronavirus's inception but he is convinced that there are many more. He recommends finding new business opportunities that could result in major disruptions in the field of digital technology.
Beracha is working on several new projects. He recently co-founded a London-based blockchain venture capital fund together with a group of business partners. Beracha is now ready to take the next step following his role in helping in the establishment of Israel as a world-class technology hub. Beracha's business outlook was reflected in the fund. "We know technology, but invest in mission driven individuals." They are determined to help blockchain find its place in the forefront of new ideas and companies that are passionate.

In addition to this European fund, Beracha has plans for another Middle Eastern venture capital fund. He believes that now is the best time to invest on the Arab market following the signing of the Abraham Accords by Israel and the United Arab Emirates. What better place to start than the wealthy and super modern Dubai? His new fund, Ender Ventures as he calls it, will unite Israeli as well as European Investors to support UAE high-tech companies in artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and robotics. The United Arab Emirates offers a unique business perspective. Because of its corporate taxes and favorable laws businesses will be drawn to the UAE in the coming years.

Although Rami Beracha appears to have succeeded in every endeavor he has set his mind on, his path was not an easy one. Beracha was just a teenager when he was drafted into the army. He became a combat soldier with the Paratrooper's Brigade and fought through the Lebanon War. In 1983, just after the war, Rami was part of the rescue group that was formed to aid wounded soldiers in a wild minefield. Unfortunately, Rami stepped on a hidden mine and was unable to walk and also lost his hand in the incident.
He was hospitalized to recover, which was among the most challenging times in his life. He couldn't move and sunk into despair and depression. His hopes of establishing his army career seemed unattainable to him, and he did not even know who he really was. Rami's illness helped him find the passion and drive to continue living and to create new dreams. He made a decision to be better and even stronger than before the injury. Rami decided to take on extreme sports. Today, he enjoys snowboarding, kitesurfing as well as climbing up Mount Kilimanjaro. Sometimes, he feels that his unwounded past is pushing forward, even as working to improve.
Rami is an avid volunteer and donor to many charities. He is also passionate about helping young soldiers who have been wounded in combat. In 2016, Rami was part of an army of soldiers who sustained injuries while on army service on a trip to Nepal. He rose to the rank major within the Israeli paratrooper/fire brigades in the year 2018. His dreams as a young man could be realized occur, despite all of the difficulties he encountered. His story and his passion are a true inspiration for othersto never give up, no matter what the circumstance. Rami didn’t let his injuries stop her from pursuing her dreams. He continued to try new techniques, learning, and growing until he became stronger than before.
