Pitango focuses on companies in their early stages, focusing on the core areas of high-tech, with more than 200 investments and 85 exits as of. Rami was named managing partner in 2000. Rami Belacha's thorny past
Today, Rami Beracha seems to be a success in almost every area he's chosen. But his life was not always simple. Beracha was just a teenager when joined the army. He was a combat soldier in the Paratrooper's Brigade and fought through the Lebanon War. Rami was part a rescue team sent out to aid soldiers wounded in minefields. This happened shortly after the war had ended. Rami fell into a concealed mine, and he was unable to walk and his hand.
His stay in the hospital was one of his most challenging experiences. He was unable to move and fell into depression and despair. The hopes he had to advance his career in the army seemed lost and he didn’t know who or what he was. In the midst of his struggles, Rami was able to discover the drive to keep moving forward and to create new goals. Rami made a decision to make his life better and more satisfying than it was before his injuries. Rami took on the challenge of trying different extreme sports. He is now a snowboarder and kitesurfing, as well as climbing up Mount Kilimanjaro. He's always striving to get better at his sport and feels like his old uninjured self is driving him along.

Rami is an avid volunteer and generous donor to a variety of charities. He also enjoys helping young soldiers who were wounded during combat. Rami accompanied a group of wounded soldiers to Nepal in the year 2016 where was given the rank of major. In 2018, he received promoted to the rank of major in the Israeli army's paratrooper and fire brigades. Despite all the difficulties he faced, his dreams were realized when he was a teenager. His story and passion provide inspiration to other people. Rami did not let the injuries to deter himfrom learning and experimenting until he was more resilient than ever.
