Chris Oyakhilome Biography. The Man. The Mentor. The Teacher. And The Philanthropist.

Pastor of faith, author, and faith healer, and television presenter Chris Oyakhilome (also called Pastor Chris) is the founder of LoveWorld Incorporated. The business, also called Christ Embassy is located in Lagos, Nigeria. His unique and inspiring interpretation of God's Word has inspired millions all over the world.

Pastor Chris: The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a faith-based family and loving, devoted parents. He is the eldest child of elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was a founder of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of Oyakhilome families. She passed on her divine grace to her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is actively supported by the entire family. Reverend Ken the brother of Ken is the beloved minister of Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM) in which numerous gospel artists are among the best-selling worldwide.

Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon is following to follow the way of her father, spreading the gospel of God to the world. Also known as CSO, she is an award-winning gospel singer and a member of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his studies at Edo College. Then he was granted a scholarship to go to Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There was he obtained a BSc. in Architecture, as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. While attending Ambrose Ali University, he got his calling from God to enter into the ministry and be an ambassador for the Lord.

Pastor Chris: The Mentor
The Man of God started what would become one of the largest churches in the world when He was still at a university. It began with an unassuming prayer group known as "Youth for Christ," that eventually grew into one of the most popular groups of its kind on campus and would serve as the basis for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated with millions of followers around the world.

The LoveWorld ministry was launched under the leadership of Pastor Chris. It's a pioneer in satellite television, Christian TV production and programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station broadcast out of Africa to the the world 24/7 continuously on free-to air networks. Today, LoveWorld television stations are available on cable and satellite networks around the world.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria. The ministry operates two healing schools that are located in South Africa.

The Man, God, has established a variety of non-profit organizations with the goal to provide vital assistance and hope. The five partners of COFI have a common goal: to raise living standards and enhance the quality of life in most disadvantaged areas.

COFI supervises the InnerCity Mission, ICM for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps and Trauma International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation , and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organisations strives to improve well-being, health and spirits of those who are most vulnerable.

The charity also provides assistance for children in need. Pastor Chris believes in empowering communities through COFI as well as The InnerCity Mission. He is a proponent of responsible governance, good governance leadership and sustainable development in Africa and other parts of the globe, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
