Chris Oyakhilome Biography. The man, the mentor, the teacher and the charity philanthropist

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian who was born in December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his loving parents. He is the eldest of three sons born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her grace upon her son from an early age.

The Reverend brother of Ken (the revered Pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is home of several best-selling gospel musicians.

Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon, who is also referred to by the name of CSO she has chosen to follow the example of her father and share the Gospel of God the world. She is a talented gospel artist, a Grammy-award winning singer and part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his studies at Edo College. After a scholarship was awarded to study architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University), he earned an BSc degree in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honourary doctorate in divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was where he found his calling to serve the Lord and become a minister.

Christ Embassy is present in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria as well as South Africa. It also has strong representations in the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, and South Africa. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation Internet (COFI) as an international non-profit corporation. Its purpose is to aid those who are most vulnerable and communities in some areas and countries across the globe.

In addition to preaching the Gospel as well as preaching the Gospel, the Man of God has also established a number of NGOs with the an aim of providing vital aid and hope to vulnerable, needy and lost souls. COFI has five partners that have a common goal of raising living standards in some of the areas that are the least developed.

The InnerCity Mission for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps(VMC), Traga Care International Foundation [TCIF], Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) and Bible For All Mission are all part of the COFI umbrella. Each of these organisations strives to improve wellbeing, health, and spirits, especially the most vulnerable.

The charity also provides food for children who are in need. Pastor Chris believes that strong communities are supported by COFI and The InnerCity Mission. This encourages accountability and good governance.
