Youtube: How do you find the most popular songs from other countries?

The question has been on my mind over the last few months. As a resident of the USA I am totally immersed in the pop music culture. Dua Lipa wearing slippers, Kanye West admiring his tinier wife. I love pop culture and am awed by all of the actors. I would make a great host on one of the Gossip & Hollywood info-talk shows which feature hosts spilling all the clothes worn by the biggest stars. So I have been trying to add more songs from other countries into my list of music to listen to. I'm starting to learn about the popular music in different regions of the globe. I started by looking up a few European monoliths like Germany, the UK, France and Sweden. After a long time on Youtube, it seemed like I had the knack of making Youtube give me the information I needed. It wasn't so simple. It appears that all one sees is what's popular in their particular region or even their country. So I looked at other websites to see if they had the top 20 most viewed videos on Youtube for their nation. But, the majority of them were outdated and nobody would want to write about the top 20 songs every week. This kind of thing should be shown on television. Hit-parades or other stuff like that.

So I kept searching.. After literally weeks and weeks of zero to very little success but not being able to find the most up-todate source of popular songs from other countries, I was about giving up. The only option I had was to use the Firefox-based free proxy plugin. It allowed me to connect to the Internet through another country. So I could browse Youtube from Spain as well as Germany. It was not reliable, cause such connections tend to go away and slow, but it was a solution and I decided to try it. The limited number of countries available and the the need to search for reliable sources were getting to me.. Then I've come across this awesome small Youtube to MP3 converter website that surprised me by its hidden functionality.


It was the Top 20 Youtube videos most well-known link. It would load about two dozen Youtube music videos in a matter of minutes I was presented with the USA chart.. Next, I switched the interface language to German and it displayed the top 20 most-watched videos. My surprise was when Top 20 trending German music videos loaded.. My eyes were tearing up, I've gone across 25 different languages that site offers, and every one of them had new top 20 tracks that are hot and trending in that particular language, as well as countries that are major in it in it, I think.. No matter how it happens, I enjoyed it. It was quick and easy with minimal effort. All you need to do is navigate and change your languages. Top songs from Korea, Hungary, Romania or Portugal are all available for your enjoyment.
