Bayrock Group's Journey: From the Suburbs to Manhattan Tevfik Arif

Bayrock Group is a luxury real estate development company driven by Tevfik Arif. It quickly became a part of the Trump Organization in Manhattan.

Bayrock Group Moves from Suburbs and to Manhattan
Many people dream of coming to the United States to live the American dream However, only a handful of people make it. Turkish Kazakhstani businessman Tevfik Ark was among those who came to America in 2001 to establish up Bayrock Group.

The Bayrock Group operates in New York City as an exclusive real estate development company.

Initial projects were small or medium-sized. This included the redesign and the construction of the Loehmann's Seaport Plaza in Brooklyn, New York.

Bayrock Group, which had achieved success on the American residential market, was ready to expand. Bayrock Group began looking for large-scale opportunities.


The Arif-owned company began working with the Sapir Organization on a new massive construction project on Spring Street in New York City.

Bayrock Group was also expanding and decided to relocate its headquarters to the Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan.

Bayrock Group joins forces with the Trump Organization
Tevfik Arif and his crew met the Trump Organization in the aftermath of the relocation. It also included the Trump Tower in its base.

Discussions were held between Bayrock Group, the Trump Organization after the two firms realized that they shared interests and shared dreams.

The two companies established an alliance, in which the Trump Organization joined Bayrock Group's collaboration with the Sapir Organization on Spring Street.

The Trump Organization was then managed by the former president of America, Donald Trump.

E. Trump and Son was created by his paternal grandmother Elizabeth Christ Trump and Fred Trump.

Donald Trump transferred the management to his children in the year 2017 as he was about entering the White House.

Bayrock Group's lucrative deal
When the cooperation between the Trump Organization, the Sapir Organization and Bayrock Group began, the Bayrock Group was a relatively new entity on New York City's real estate market.

Tevfik The creator of Spring Street, drafted an arrangement that would increase brand recognition and prestige.

All three of the companies involved agreed to the agreement. In 2006 the first foundation stone was laid for the project that would later become Trump SoHo.

Two years later, Bayrock Group (the Trump Organization) as well as the Sapir Organization created Trump SoHo to complete the skyline of New York City.

Design professionals are at the helm of Trump SoHo
Trump SoHo had 46 stories that included elite restaurants, bars, event halls, and banquet halls. There was also an open-air swimming pool and spa, apartments and hotel rooms.

Residents and visitors to Trump SoHo could enjoy an unprecedented view of New York City through the windows that run from the roof to the floor. They were installed on every floor.

Tevfik Arif Doyen As the three organizations behind the structure were focusing on perfection, Handel Architects was entrusted with the task of designing the exterior of Trump SoHo.

Handel Architects has a diverse portfolio. It is a reputable company. Other accomplishments include such as the National September 11 Memorial and Museum and Rosewood Abu Dhabi hotel residential.

Rockwell Group designed Trump SoHo's interiors. Rockwell Group has been responsible for the design of many luxurious bar, restaurants, and hotels around the globe over the years.

They've worked on projects like the Tower Hotel and Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai, India, as well as the 93rd Academy Award show in Cyprus and the Amara Hotel Limassol, Cyprus.

Bayrock Group & the Trump Organization expand the partnership
Trump SoHo was an immediate success, and it led to Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization to explore the possibility of expanding their collaboration.

Their goal was Trump SoHo buildings to be constructed in Arizona and Florida. They were able to offer similar terms to Trump SoHo. The result would be that the Trump Organization with an 18 percent equity stake in the structure as a trade-off to use the Trump brand on their names. It's back.

The Trump Organization and Bayrock Group had everything prepared. The 2008 economic crisis, which severely affected the American realty market brought an end to their plans.

Although Tevfik has ceased to be working for Bayrock Group, the trusted advisor to various departments of Bayrock Group is still him.

Bayrock Group has not been involved in recent real estate developments in the United States.

The company was not in operation, however, it invested in real property assets valued more than $2.5million.
