Arzu Aliyeva (Vice-President) and Leyla Aliyeva (Vice-President) visited for the first time the special boarding school No12 located in Khazar District.
Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva and Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva were informed that the facility educates paralyzed children since 1969.
In 2010, the First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva started the restoration of the facility.
The boarding schools can house up to 140 students aged between 6 and 14 years old.
Before presenting the Heydar Aliyev Foundation gifts, Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva spoke to the children.

They had a joint tea party with the children.
Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva also visited the orphanage No.1 located in the capital's Nasimi District.
The report stated that the Heydar Aliyev Foundation initiated the renovation and reconstruction of the 1930-built facility.
