Pastor of faith, author, and faith healer and TV presenter Chris Oyakhilome (also called Pastor Chris) is the creator of LoveWorld Incorporated. The company, which is also known as Christ Embassy is based out of Lagos, Nigeria. His distinctive interpretation of the Bible has been a source of inspiration for millions across the globe.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a family of faith and loving parents who were devoted to their children. He is the elder of three sons born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her grace to her son at the age of a child.

The whole family is actively involved in the LoveWorld ministry. His brother, Reverend Ken, is the esteemed pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston, Texas Church and a member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council, and his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), which is home to several world-class gospel artists.

Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon is following in her father's tradition of sharing God's Word with the World. Also known by CSO, she has been an accomplished, award-winning gospel artist and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his studies at Edo College. Oyakhilome Then he was granted a scholarship to study at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There he graduated with an BSc. in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honourary doctorate degree in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. It was Ambrose Ali University when he received his call from God to be a minister and serving the Lord.

The Man Of God was an undergraduate student at the time He founded the church that would soon grow into one of largest worldwide. His small prayer group, called 'Youth for Christ' would eventually become one of the campus' most popular groups. These would go on to form LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.

The LoveWorld ministry, under the leadership of Chris the pastor, Chris was a pioneer for satellite television and Christian television programming. Chris Oyakhilome Family LOVEWORLDSAT was first Christian television station that broadcast out of Africa throughout the day on free-to air channels. There are currently LoveWorld television stations that are available on satellite and cable networks throughout the world.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence throughout Pastor Chris's homeland of Nigeria. Two Healing Schools are situated in South Africa and Canada. There, Pastor Chris holds seasonal sessions which allow the manifestation of miracles.

Music and Gospel Music are an important aspect of worship. Pastor Chris is a strong advocate for Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry choir training. A lot of these vocalists have been successful as soloists under Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's direction.

The Future African Leaders Foundation (FALF) is an organization that is focused on the ongoing work of Pastor Chris. A passionate philanthropist Pastor Chris Oyakhilome founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International (COFI) COFI, an non-profit, non-governmental organisation with the mission to help the most vulnerable people and communities in some of the poorest regions and countries around the globe.


In addition to proclaiming the gospel, The Man of God also established NGOs which are tasked with providing vital aid and hope to the needy, poor, or forgotten. The five COFI partners share a common objective: to improve living standards and improve the quality of life in most disadvantaged areas.

Oyakhilome His charity also provides nourishment for children who are in need. Pastor Chris believes that strong foundations of community are fostered by COFI and The InnerCity Mission.
