Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian pastor, TV host as well as an an author. He is also the president of the Believers' LoveWorld Inc. Also known as Christ Embassy International.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child born to the family of Oyakhilome, and was born December 7, 1973, to Tim Oyakhilome. He finished his secondary and primary studies at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State, Nigeria. The university awarded him an BSc.


AAU also awarded him an honorary Doctor of Science prize. He also has an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe and they have two beautiful children.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his ministry career while at AAU. The Believers' LoveWorld Fellowship currently Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was in the beginning known as Youths For Christ.

YFC quickly grew and became the largest campus-based fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. The church has its headquarters in Lagos. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome The Believer's LoveWorld is home to millions of associates and followers all over the world.

Through its 2002 environment for miracles program, BLW was the most well-known Christian ministry on TV in Africa. The program was canceled in May of 2004 after the president Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria declared that churches should stop broadcasting miracles.

Future Africa Leaders' Foundation (FALF)
The Future Africa Leaders Foundation was established to expand and explore the leadership potential of Africans. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome The foundation recognizes, celebrates and assists young African leaders who have had a an impact on their generation. This is accomplished through education, youth empowerment and mentoring.

The foundation recognizes these young leaders by presenting them with awards known as The Next African Leaders’ Awards. Held at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena in Billings Way (LCA), Oregun and Ikeja, the award ceremony is 5 years old. Winners are presented with an award by Reverend Chris Oyakhilome (President of BLW).


The InnerCity Mission For Children

The InnerCity Mission for Children is a faith-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). The NGO was started in 2005 with the intention to reach vulnerable, poor orphaned children around the world.

The foundation aids these children and their communities by implementing sustainable and inclusive interventions, which include child development programmes as well as childcare programs Family strengthening programmes, InnerCity Mission for Children School and many more.

Chris Oyakhilome Family Trauma Care International Foundation

The Trauma Care International Foundation was created in order to enhance the health condition and quality of life of the local community and nation by encouraging better emergency response in the case of accidents and emergencies. The foundation's mission is to help national policies regarding trauma care by promoting health education in the community, community-based programs and advocacy.

Over a thousand training sessions in emergency and safety were provided by the foundation. The foundation has taught over a thousand police officers, teachers as well as caregivers and road transportation employees.

The Volunteer Medical Corps, a religious outreach of the church, is dedicated to providing aid supplies, medical assistance and education to internally displaced persons and refugees in areas affected by natural or man-made disasters.

The outreach involves paramedics, students as well as christian doctors from every nation. The volunteers provide medical treatment as well as emergency assistance and long-term health care solutions for communities and regions that are in need.
