Dear colleagues,

As we continue to grow as a Company, it is important to uphold a high standard of corporate governance, compliance and transparency. With this objective in mind, we have recently set up the Internal Audit and Compliance functions. We have also set up a confidential whistleblowing channel for employees and external parties to report any known or suspected fraud and wrongdoing. The key guidelines for whistleblowing are as follows:

1. What should I report through this channel?
This channel is for reporting known or suspected fraud and wrongdoing, as well as questionable practices. This may include:
Misappropriation of Lazada’s properties, assets or resources, including stocks, monies, cash equivalents (vouchers, etc.), computer equipment, etc.;
Theft of confidential or proprietary information/data and intellectual property;
Abuse of system access privileges or insider information to obtain unfair gain;
Intentional manipulation, falsification, destruction, concealment of records, documents, data and information;
Acts of corruption (giving or receiving bribes, including facilitation payments);
Violations of laws and regulations;
Conflicts on interest, abuse of power, position or authority;
Acts which compromise the security, health and safety of employees or customers;
Breach of Lazada's Code of Conduct
2. How do I make a whistleblowing report?
The current available* channels for reporting are:

Letter: You may send a letter addressed to Head of Internal Audit or Chief Compliance Officer to this address: 12 Prince Edward Road #05-01 Bestway Building Podium B Singapore 079212
* In the near future, we will also have web and phone channels available.

3. Will I get into trouble for whistleblowing?
All reports and identity of the whistleblower will be kept strictly confidential. We do not tolerate any form of retaliation, reprisals or harassment against the whistleblower. Similarly, we do not tolerate any frivolous, bogus and malicious complaints.

4. What if I am not sure about the case facts?
If in doubt, just report it. As long as there is no malicious intention to harm anyone.

5. Can I remain anonymous (not provide my real identity)?
Identity of the whistleblower will be kept strictly confidential. However, you may choose not to reveal your identity or use the web and phone channels when they are available.
