The evolution of Blackjack
Blackjack, one the most popular games in the casino, could have its roots in India or Spain. If you go to either of these places you can trace its roots back more than two thousand years ago. Some scholars now believe that blackjack originated in the earliest Chinese gambling.

Although historians may not be capable of determining the exact origin of the game it is certain that it originated in France. A different theory suggests that Blackjack was created by an ancient Romans. Although this idea is somewhat plausible, it's not supported by any evidence. Still, it's believed that Romans played blackjack using wooden blocks with various numbers instead of playing with paper cards.

Another theory of where the game's origins are in the Bahamas, or perhaps or perhaps with the Spanish people. The accounts connect the gambling industry with the beginning of the blackjack. A report states that Spaniards came up the idea of adding the bonus of four years to the winner; essentially, the chance to win another card if you had lost the original card. With time, the name came to include "black" as an suffix to refer to the metal playing cards.

Therefore, many more card counters tried to make money playing a game that wasn't as popular as the game they played. Online casinos were born as a result.

Today, the computer has taken over the role of "dealer". A player doesn't have to flip a coin or choose the right hand. He simply glances at the computer screen to decide which combination to play. The dealer doesn't know whether players are playing bluff or not, therefore there's always a possibility that some players have already dismissed a possible combination. This scenario is unlikely because there are no physical cards involved. Online card counters are always in the process of determining the best times for players to call or take them off the table.
