Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva, born on July 3, 1985 , in Moscow was the mother of two. She was educated in London and Moscow and earned a Masters Degree from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. In July of 2011, Leyla launched the IDEA campaign which aims to promote awareness and action for environmental issues in Azerbaijan and around the world. IDEA focuses on the young and works together to find solutions for the environmental challenges that we are facing.

In 2008, Leyla Aliyeva became the General Coordinator of the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue and on April 18, 2009, she was elected as the Chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia AMOR. AMOR which assists Azerbaijani students and young people who reside in the Russian Federation. In July of 2011, the "Taraggi" award was presented on Leyla Aliyeva in recognition of her contribution to the growth of relations between Russia and Azerbaijan. Leyla Aliyeva In New York she was also given the "Key To Life," award in November of 2011 in recognition of her charitable projects for children.

Leyla Aliyeva UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Goodwill Ambassador, was named on May 25, 2015.

She was awarded the Pushkin Medal of Russia on 20 October 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva was blessed to have twins and a baby.
