När vakten på Västerviks fängelse med de orden vinkade av den då 19-årige Pelle Lundström fick han honom att resa sig ur den glödbädd som bränt honom sedan barnsben. Han skulle visa hela världen att vakten hade fel. Så blev det också. En dag skulle han komma att kallas eldsjäl.
Pelle berättar om sin livsresa som från unga år präglades av våld och kriminalitet, men hur han senare fann sin plats i livet och blev en hyllad eldsjäl för sitt arbete med ungdomar. Det är en ärlig och öppen berättelse, där han förutom historier ur sitt liv även delar med sig av sina tankar på hur vuxna och samhället borde bemöta ungdomar.
Med sin självbiografi vill Pelle inge hopp och påminna om att aldrig döma ut en människas möjlighet till förändring. Livet är fullt av vägval – med den egna viljan och andras tilltro kan man styra rätt.
Pelle Lundström är bosatt i Stockholm. När han inte skriver poesi arbetar han med människor utifrån sitt sätt att möta dem med hjärtat först.
