Afroklectic is a blog created by an African-Australian artist, Gillean Opoku. The purpose of this blog is to encourage creativity in the African-Australian community and to introduce African culture to the wider Australian and international audience. Sepha fled Ethiopia in the late 1970s and settled in Washington DC. "Ken the Kenyan" is a close friend of Stephanos. "Joe from the Congo" is a waiter at Colonial Grill, and he has given up his PhD to become an Afropolitan. He keeps his college books and quotes poetry from his native Africa.
