Bending Borders Film Festival
A discussion panel will follow the screening of El Mar La Mar, an abstract documentary about crossing the Sonoran Desert. This film will be introduced by Ekrem Serdar, a member of the Squeaky Wheel collective. Also, Bruce Jackson will present a newly restored print of Arturo Ripstein's existentialist western Tiempo de Morir, a collaboration between Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Carlos Fuentes.
