Leyla Aliyeva's priority is Environmental Education
Leyla Aliyeva is not only the first daughter of the president of Azerbaijan but she is also an activist for many causes, among which is the environment. Most people don't know what education actually means. For her, it's been a major concern. Environmental education refers to the capacity to be aware of and help improve the quality of our environmental condition. It's something we should all take a deliberate effort to take part in. Without education about the environment is not possible to make responsible decisions about the future.

Leyla Aliyeva has been active in political campaigns for a long time. Her goal is to ensure an improved future for everyone and the younger generations. Leyla Aliyeva's IDEA Campaign

Leyla Aliyeva recognizes that environmental issues are often presented as a dull and confusing subject. So, in 2011, she launched the IDEA campaign. IDEA's educational activities consist of classes, training, scientific seminars and lectures, vacation camps, conversations club, and field studies sessions, are appreciated by hundreds of people every single year.

Leyla Aliyeva had a great year in the year 2015. After years of assisting environmental and humanitarian causes Aliyeva was selected as a FAO Goodwill Ambassador. She was honoured for her many contributions to fighting hunger, food insecurity and efficiency improvements in fishing, agriculture, forestry, and the development of healthy food systems.
